10 Lazy Ways to Improve Your Grades

In the busy world of education you will always have those days where you aren't always feeling your best (especially with alcohol involved). We know the struggle so that's why we have created the 10 lazy ways to improve your grades! It is 100% necessary to understand how to use these next techniques to keep on top of your studies, even on those lazy days.

  1. Audiobooks: Absorb Information On the Go Switch it up and turn your required readings into an audiobook listening session instead. Audiobooks are a great option to passively consume information while doing other tasks like cooking cooking the dinner.

  2. Digital Flashcards: Use Old Resources Let others do the work for you! Install a flashcard app that allows you to view other peoples sets so you can save time on writing them yourself.

  3. Summaries: Save Hours Reading when you don't feel like reading the whole chapter, searching online for a summary is always a viable option to get the main ideas and points of the chapter.

  4. Bathroom Sticky Notes: Studying on the Toilet! Placing sticky notes in the bathroom with key information for an upcoming exam or assignment is a brilliantly lazy way of revising. This is a fantastic way to revise key information while performing daily mindless tasks such as brushing your teeth.

  5. Group Work: Divide & Conquer When assigned with a group task, take advantage of peoples strengths. Divide the task into smaller chunks and assign them to people best suited for the job.

  6. AI Websites: Artificial Intelligence to Boost Your Intelligence Take advantage of sites such as Grammarly.com for tasks like proofreading. This will save your precious time and ensure better accuracy when it comes to your writing.

  7. Voice Notes: Message for Future Me Record voice memos summarising key points of your studies in an easy to understand way. Play this back to yourself on the way to class or exams as a form of last minute revision.

  8. Study In Comfort: Break Free from the Desk Studying doesn't have to be confined to a desk at all times. For simple tasks such as video lectures and reading material, your bed will be more than sufficient.

  9. Take Breaks: Avoid Burnout Avoid burnout by breaking down your study sessions into shorter, more frequent and more manageable chunks. This technique keeps learning fresher and less tedious.

  10. One Sentence Review: Quick Recap After each study session, challenge yourself to summarise the main idea into just one sentence. This is a simple and effective way to reinforce your memory & learning.

You'll find the further into your studies you go, you'll discover study habits that work well for you and discover some that don't. But where's the harm in trying, 'can't knock it till you try it' as they say. Over the next 30 days, set yourself a goal to give one of these methods a go. My advice is to try the one that has the most difference to your current routine, adventure in education is essential for success and who doesn't want success right?
